Raw unfiltered honey is the base of nearly everything in this collection. Unfiltered means it keeps its pollen, propolis, and natural texture rather than being stripped down to a uniform syrup. It will crystallize on the shelf. That is honey behaving the way honey behaves.
If it firms up, set the jar in a bowl of warm water and it loosens again.
Turmeric stirred into raw honey. Take it by the spoonful or dissolve a teaspoon into warm milk or water. It stains, so pick a spoon you are not attached to.
Cacao and honey, with nothing else in the jar. Richer and rounder than the turmeric. Good stirred into hot water or spread across warm bread.
The blend shifts with the season and with what is available. Steep one teaspoon per cup for five minutes with a lid on, so the aromatics stay in the cup.
Reach for the raw honey if you want one jar that works everywhere: tea, toast, cooking, straight off the spoon. Reach for a paste if you want something already made, ready to stir into a cup at the end of the day. Reach for the tea if the ritual matters as much as the cup.
Honey and honey pastes hold at room temperature for a very long time. Keep the lid on, keep water out of the jar, and skip the refrigerator. Loose tea holds its character for roughly a year in a sealed container away from light and heat.
Color, texture, and scent shift between batches. Honey changes with the season and with what the bees were working. Herbs change with the harvest. The variation is the ingredient being real.
